Welcome – my name is Amira Whitehill. I'm a licensed therapist in private practice and adjunct faculty member at Antioch University.
In both settings, I’ve seen the powerful impact education, insight, and self-understanding can have in helping people improve their lives and relationships. In my practice, it's my goal to help you get to where you want to be – whether it’s increased productivity at work, decreased stress at home, or greater intimacy and connection in your most important relationships. I love what I do, and would love to share what I know with you.
I primarily work with high-achieving adults and adolescents struggling to meet professional and academic goals due to concerns often rooted in depression, anxiety, or conflict. My approach relies heavily on current research in our field, concrete skills, and emphasizing my clients’ strengths. In doing this, clients report increased confidence in themselves and clarity regarding what they need to improve to feel better. Because of this approach, therapy is active, dynamic, and engaging with most clients completing therapy within 2-4 months.
